India lies at the heart of south central Asia. It has the second largest population in the world with over 700 languages and dialects. We travel from the eternal city of Varanasi, the birthplace of Hinduism, to the snow- covered peaks and deep valleys of the Himalayas.
Traveler Andrew Daddo begins his journey on the holy River Ganges in Varanasi to witness the pilgrims bathing in the ghats. From there, he takes the train to the famous Taj Mahal before heading on to Delhi. He continues by train into the Himalayas to enjoy the beautiful views of the Kula Valley before ending his journey in the breathtaking lost city of Leh.
